Joanne's most recent collages combine richly-textured handmade papers with an impasto of acrylic paints on gallery-style wrapped canvases which may be hung without a frame.  These collages, in a variety of color palettes from subtle, earthy tones to bright, sunny hues, reflect the world around us.  Joanne draws her inspiration for these artworks from the beauty of natural landscapes, architectural designs, and her friendships.
